The BlueRobotics M10 Vent & Plug for Enclosures is designed to facilitate the release of trapped pressure from a sealed enclosure. It comes with a threaded plug that features a double O-ring seal, which can be used to open and close the vent.
When end caps and flanges are fitted onto watertight enclosures, the air inside is slightly compressed, exerting a force that attempts to pry the enclosure open. This vent provides a simple and efficient solution to release the pressure and subsequently reseal the enclosure. Additionally, it can be utilized to perform a vacuum-check on the enclosure to ensure there are no leaks.
The design of this vent is based on the standard M10 threaded bulkhead, with the addition of a plug that fits perfectly to seal it. The plug is sealed with double O-rings and can be screwed into the bulkhead for a secure fit. The vent is constructed from anodized aluminum, ensuring resistance to corrosion and high strength. The O-ring seal is designed to work on any smooth surface, and the threaded plug can be securely fastened.
